Access Anytime Loyalty Upgrade

For existing Capitec clients with an existing Access Anytime savings plan. The promotional rate is 6% per month for 6 months from qualifying activation, plus a once-off R1 000 joining bonus.

To join

• Have at least R3 000 of your own savings. Your current balance counts; the bonus does not count towards this starting amount.
• Select your existing plan, review the offer terms and activate the upgrade in Capitec Savings.
• Activate within the joining window: 1 Nov 2026 — 31 Jan 2027.

Your six-month period

Your own six months start from activation. For example, activate on 31 Jan 2027 and the period ends on 31 Jul 2027. A month below the qualifying balance does not extend this period.

Interest and qualifying balance

Maintain an average monthly balance of at least R3 000 to earn the promotional rate. It applies to the full qualifying balance with no upper balance limit. Interest is based on daily balances and paid monthly.

If your average monthly balance falls below R3 000, the standard Access Anytime rate applies for that month. The promotional rate resumes in a qualifying month within the original six months. See the offer terms in the app for the daily calculation and payment rules.

Joining bonus

The R1 000 once-off bonus is paid into your plan after qualifying activation with at least R3 000 of your own savings, and becomes part of the interest-earning balance. The exact crediting timeframe is specified in the offer terms in the app. Downloading the app alone does not earn the bonus.

Withdraw anytime

Your savings remain accessible and you can withdraw whenever you need to. The promotional rate still depends on the average monthly balance requirement.

After six months

Your existing plan continues at the standard Access Anytime rate, with your money still accessible. The campaign provides one joining bonus and six monthly promotional interest payments, subject to monthly qualification.
